Tako daily brief
Tako, your AI mascot, can produce a personal morning brief that summarizes your last 24 hours of task activity and GitHub commits, plus a tickable checklist of suggested todos for today.
The button lives in the top bar of every page (when the feature is enabled for your org). Click it to open the brief.
What’s in the brief
- Greeting + overview — what tasks you moved, closed, or have open
- GitHub activity — commits from repos linked to your projects, plus PRs/branches linked to your tasks (requires linking your GitHub identity in Settings → Integrations)
- Suggested checklist — up to six personal todos for today. These are personal scratch items, not real tasks. Tick them as you go; ticks persist for the day
- Yesterday follow-up — if you generated a brief yesterday, Tako mentions how many items you ticked
Generating and regenerating
The first time you open the brief on a given day, hit Generate today’s brief. If you want a fresh take later in the day, hit Regenerate (subject to a 5-minute cooldown). Regenerating wipes the day’s checklist state.
Org settings
Org admins can enable the feature and configure the (future) auto-delivery hour under Settings → AI features. The delivery hour defaults to 10 (10 AM). Automation is not wired yet — the value is stored for an upcoming release.
